Winter in New England can be hard on our bodies and minds, the cold can cause us to coil in and put up a protective layer, causing our energy to go stagnant. Join Chelsey as she takes you through wave-like motions and whole-body flows to help you unfurl and release stuck energy.
You can expect a class full of smooth transitions that will help you fall more in love with the present moment. In this vinysa flow class we will focus on shoulder mobility and hip opening where stagnant energy tends to build up. The practice will integrate empowering breathwork, heat-building standing poses enhanced by guided visualization, twists, side-plank variations, balance-boosting poses (including eagle and side crow), and more.
You will leave knowing on a bone deep-level simple, sweet and sacred movements that you can take home into your own practice.
What you can expect:
60 minute practice, 30 minutes for questions, 30 minute meditation, and a take home offering.
What you’ll need:
Journal, pen/pencil, 2 blocks, a cleared wall space, strap (if needed) a blanket, and pillow.
