SOUL- The deep dive into who you really are and to the gifts you carry

Today I opened a journal entry from my recent trip to Iceland. That day we beheld a sight I will never forget— grey molten earth from an active volcano. To be more specific it was slate grey in color—the purest color grey I’ve ever seen, actually. So raw and undisturbed.

It brought to mind these poetic words from Bill Plotkin,

“When, at long last, we gaze into our own depths, we see the same kind of enchantment and resilience we see in undisturbed nature.”

Journal Entry: “If I dug deep enough and removed all of the layers of “trying” to be what others expected me to be, would I find a well spring of slate grey bubbles underneath the surface going wild? Bursting forth with such raw energy that screams, ‘I will not be still, I will not be dimmed, I am what I am, pure, true and unwavering.’”

I was in Iceland for 11 days and saw whales, waterfalls, and stood atop many mountains, but that color sticks with me as the most vivid reflection of my own soul.

This section of the site will be here as a resource for your own soul journey. This tab is called “Journal” but you can think of it as “Soul Stirrings.” Motivational videos and writings, journal assignments, and more to keep your feet on the path to your authentic self.

I could not say it any better then this:

“The gift you carry for others is not an attempt to save the world but to fully belong to it. It’s impossible to save the world by trying to save it. You need to find what is genuinely yours to offer the world before you can make it a better place. Discovering your unique gifts to bring to your community is your greatest opportunity and challenge. The offering of that gift- your true self- is the most you can do to love and serve the world. And it is all the world needs.” Bill Plotkin pg.13 souldcraft

Let’s take this journey together, it’s time to take the dive into your SOUL.
